ZTE 5.7-Inch P945 Android Leaks

by Stephen Schenck on

Smartphone manufacturers have seriously fallen in love with jumbo-sized screens on their phones as of late. Samsung may have gotten the ball rolling with the first Galaxy Note, but after it pushed the limited with the 5.5-inch Note II, all bets were off. Huawei has really taken the idea and run with it, giving us the almost preposterously-large Ascend Mate. If Huawei’s 6.1 inches is just a bit much for your tastes, ZTE might have just the thing for you, now that a render of its 5.7-inch Android has leaked.

So far known just as model P945, this 5.7-inch ZTE model could be one of the first smartphones to populate this 5.6-to-6-inch space. Unlike all the 1080p phones we’re seeing pop up in the phablet range, the P945 sounds like it will be somewhat more restrained, featuring only a 720p resolution, and a 1.2GHz quad-core processor that – while it should be way more than capable – isn’t going to be pushing any performance limits. Other specs currently attributed to the P945 include an eight-megapixel main camera, 3000mAh battery, and the presence of at least Ice Cream Sandwich, if not Jelly Bean.

As you can see, this leak has the P945 getting ready for a launch in China. For now, there’s no other news as to other nations that might hope to see the arrival of this ZTE giant.
