Acrobat Reader for Windows Phone Finally Updated
When Windows Phone 7 was first released, Adobe provided an extremely basic Acrobat Reader in the marketplace just so people could view PDFs on the new phone. It was a very slow and feature-lacking PDF reader, but at least it worked. Today, the new Adobe Acrobat Reader X is available on Windows Phone. You’ll notice a new design and a couple extra options including continuous/single page view, document search, and a “recently viewed” documents pane. Zooming performance and panning seems improved, but if you’ve got a heafty PDF, it still has to take some time to re-render the graphics at each zoom level.
Disappointingly, the extremely useful features such as being able to email a PDF to some one else or upload them to SkyDrive or pinning PDFs to the start screen are still completely absent.
