Earlier today we talked a little about two rumored upcoming Nokia models, the Lumia 820 and Lumia 920. While both were shown-off with purported renders at the time, now we’ve got a real photo to check out, supposedly of the 820.

It should be immediately clear that this isn’t quite the same design as in that render. It’s certainly similar, but especially surrounding the camera, there are a couple differences; look at how small the flash is here, for one.

Camera aside, this does appear to be a pretty close fit to that previous depiction. We might just explain away those inconsistencies by noting that this is clearly a prototype device, as evidenced by Nokia’s markings, and could simply represent an earlier design. From the looks of things, the prototype, at least, seems reasonably thin.

We also get a very limited look at the phone fully powered-up, showing it running Windows Phone 8 as expected, but reporting an unusual 335 megabytes of RAM.
