Samsung Asks Court To Lift Ban on Galaxy Tab 10.1
We all know that Apple somehow ended-up winning the whole patent case against Samsung. The interesting part though, is that the only device we actually did agree “looked exactly like an iOS device”, didn’t infringe any copyrights according to the jury. That’s right, believe it or not, it seems like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 does not look like the iPad 2.
The biggest problem Samsung now faces is that Apple paid a $2.6 million bond in order to secure the injunction over the Galaxy Tab 10.1 until a damages hearing happens. Since the device is no longer guilty, it’s only fair that the court let’s it continue what’s left of it’s shelf-life until extinction. The catch here is that there’s another injunction hearing next month, and it could just be that Sammy will just have to hold.
We’ll see how this whole drama ends-up soon hopefully, even though the road is now paved for the new Galaxy Note 10.1 anyways.
