The LG Optimus VU is coming to Verizon; nothing out of the ordinary here, we’ve been hearing that for quite some time. According to the latest rumors however the carrier is planning on renaming the phone which will soon land on its line-up wearing the LG Intuition name.

The press render above appears to show off the Optimus VU/Intuition with Verizon branding, pretty much matching the live pictures we’ve already seen. We also know that press renders are usually containing hints towards a certain date which is believed to be related to the announcement (of nothing, in extreme cases). The screen of this particular Intuition has the September 15 date on it, at 2pm. That day is Saturday; we though we’d mention this together with the fact that you should probably treat this as a rumor rather than a confirmation.
