9-Pin USB Cable For Future iOS Devices Leaked
The media has been filled with so many leaks of the smaller dock connector we’ll find on the next-generation of iOS products, that I’m not sure what took them so long to leak the cable. Finally, USB cable specialist Veister claims to have a cable in his power and was nice enough to share a photo.
We’re all expecting the iPhone 5 to be launched with this new smaller connector that according to X-Code, drops the count from the previous 30-pin connector to just 9. Sadly, the tweet doesn’t confirm if this will be a magnetic connector like the MagSafe power adapter we find on all portable Macs, but given the fact that I don’t find any means for that cable to hold itself in the device, it could just be that it’s magnetic. There are also tons of rumors mentioning Apple doing a full revamp of their iOS devices to include the new connector, so hey, it must have something special about it.
