Asus Transformer Pad TF300 Gets Its Jelly Bean Update

It is always good to see manufacturers pushing out timely updates, and especially awesome if the update happens to be the latest platform version for Google’s Android operating system. The Transformer Pad TF300 — unveiled at MWC — is getting its Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update as we speak, according to community feedback.

The OTA refresh warns of incompatibilities with Flash player and no longer working WiFi Direct. However, the feedback is rather positive and, as you’d expect from Project Butter inside Jelly Bean, the device becomes really responsive. Check manually for the existence of the update if you didn’t already receive the notification. Drop us a line if you’ve successfully installed the refresh and tell us what you think.
