Sony Xperia Tablet Renders Allegedly Leaked Ahead Of IFA Launch

We know that Sony is preparing a special press event prior to the IFA in Berlin and, while we’re expecting a couple of Xperia phones, the manufacturer has been rumored to release its first Xperia branded tablet, as a follow-up to the Tablet S. We’ve already seen initial leaks and now it looks like we’re looking at alleged press renders.

The wedged design, found on the Tablet S, seems to be gone even though the side render shows that there is a slight impression of a tapered build. There are also a couple of bits accompanying the images; the Xperia tablet will reportedly be powered by a Tegra 3 SoC, sport an eight-megapixel main camera, single megapixel webcam and pack a 6,000mAh battery. There will purportedly be three storage options and the prices rumored are $399.99, $499.99, and $599.99 for the 16-, 32-, and 64GB variants respectively.
