One of the ways Android users are able to subscribe and listen to our Pocketnow Weekly podcast is by using Google Listen (Apple fans can check it out on iTunes, Windows Phone users will find it on Zune and you can always download the audio file or check it out on YouTube).

However, Google Listen has been discontinued. Those who have it installed on their devices will still be able to use the app but the search function will stop as of November 1. In the light of all these, make sure to bookmark our podcast’s RSS feed and import it in your third party podcast application. As Google said it themselves, “people now have access to a wider variety of podcast apps” and we recommend BeyondPod; however, there’s a cornucopia to choose from. Your subscriptions will still remain alive in your Google Account’s Reader section.
