Which Looks Better? A Comparison Between Popular Apps on Android and iOS

Remember when we showed you a series of comparison photos between a number of popular apps on iOS and Windows Phone?  And then we showed you another series comparing Windows Phone with Android?  In those galleries, it was clear that Windows Phone’s design language was much different from Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android.  In this series of images you’ll see more of the same popular apps and how they differ on iOS and Android.  In many cases 3rd party app developers seem to keep their design language quite consistent between these two platforms.  It’s actually a bit surprising how similar the 3rd party app designs tend to be.  Most of the iOS apps keep a row of rectangular buttons along the bottom of the screen for navigating between the different sections.  In many cases the only difference with the Android version of the app is where these navigational buttons are placed.
