iOS 6 Preview (Video)

iOS 6 is what I’d consider to be a mixed bag. There are a lot of reasons why it matters, but none of these include the word “ground breaking”. Apple has answered some of our requests with features like turn-by-turn navigation, or simple things like a “do not disturb” button for notifications, but almost every one of these features is just a catch-up to what others have already offered for years. Usually, if you’re late to the game, people don’t really mind if you figure out a way to do it better, but I sadly can’t say that about iOS 6. Surely this is still a beta, and there are tons of things to improve, but what is being implemented is not my problem. My disappointment is over what hasn’t changed, and the list is big, so watch our hands-on preview with our full list of impressions over what’s good, and what’s bad.

Update: The official release of iOS 6 should reach your devices any time today. We’ve been following the beta closely since its first iteration and there haven’t been any significant changes to mention that would require a video update. Leave us a comment down bellow on your thoughts of the update once you get it.
