If you recently fired up the Facebook application on your iPhone or Android-powered device you probably noticed that there are some welcome changes. The overall design has been tweaked for better display and readability and the new changes affect both the ways posts are displayed as well as images.

First of all photos being displayed are up to three times larger, depending on their original size. Couple that together with the fact that posts will now entirely fill your screen, from edge to edge, when viewing and you’ve got a rather fresh look. In addition, browsing Facebook with the dedicated application on the iPad seems to also reflect some of the changes, at least those related to how images are being displayed. The new look also applies to those who prefer to check on the social network with an internet browser by going to m.facebook.com.
